# Discretion vs Momento Marks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Momento Marks at every 4 days against Discretion's every 2 months. Discretion's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Discretion sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and Momento Marks sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Discretion ships an update every 2 months, Momento Marks every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
