# OnBeat vs Sortible

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Sortible at 100% against OnBeat's 29%. Sortible also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). OnBeat's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.4K vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OnBeat sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Sortible sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sortible holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OnBeat has 2.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 29% of OnBeat's written reviews are positive against 100% of Sortible's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
