# OnBeat vs Wavify

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wavify at 100% against OnBeat's 30%. Wavify also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and device support (3 vs 1). OnBeat's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (2.4K vs 1). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OnBeat sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Wavify sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Wavify holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OnBeat has 2.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 30% of OnBeat's written reviews are positive against 100% of Wavify's.

OnBeat ships an update fortnightly, Wavify every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
