# OnBeat vs Snaparoo App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Snaparoo App at none against OnBeat's 8. Snaparoo App also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). OnBeat's advantage is ratings volume (2.4K vs 2). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OnBeat sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Snaparoo App asks for nothing beyond the download.

Snaparoo App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OnBeat has 2.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
