# LearnCard vs Comet

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: LearnCard at none against Comet's 3. LearnCard also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 65%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Comet's advantage is ratings volume (7.8K vs 5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Comet sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $20.00 per month. LearnCard asks for nothing beyond the download.

LearnCard holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comet has 7.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of LearnCard's written reviews are positive against 65% of Comet's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
