# Arbor vs The Mint

The clearest difference is rating: The Mint at 4.8 against Arbor's 4.0. The Mint also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 1). Arbor's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Mint holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Mint has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
