# POV vs Journey Tracker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: POV at 16K against Journey Tracker's 4. POV also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and chart position (#124 vs unranked). Journey Tracker's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 84%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. POV sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Journey Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for POV against 5.0 for Journey Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: POV has 16K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of POV's written reviews are positive against 100% of Journey Tracker's.

POV ships an update weekly, Journey Tracker every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
