# Tennis Notes vs Tenniva

The clearest difference is update cadence: Tenniva at every 9 days against Tennis Notes's every 4 weeks. Tenniva also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). Tennis Notes's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 3). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tennis Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Tenniva sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tenniva holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tennis Notes has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tennis Notes ships an update every 4 weeks, Tenniva every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
