# Workout vs Fit Pro

The clearest difference is rating: Fit Pro at 5.0 against Workout's 4.3. Fit Pro also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Workout's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (34 vs 11). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Workout sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Fit Pro sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fit Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 34 and 11 respectively.

Workout ships an update every 2 months, Fit Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
