# Workout vs FORMA

The clearest difference is update cadence: FORMA at every 2 weeks against Workout's every 2 months. FORMA also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Workout sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and FORMA sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Workout ships an update every 2 months, FORMA every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
