# Magnifying glass vs Stitch

The clearest difference is update cadence: Stitch at every 9 days against Magnifying glass's every 6 weeks. Magnifying glass's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Magnifying glass sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Stitch sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Magnifying glass ships an update every 6 weeks, Stitch every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
