# 2nd vs Get SMS Code

The clearest difference is monetization model: Get SMS Code at free with in-app purchases against 2nd's subscription. Get SMS Code also leads on ads (none vs shown). 2nd's advantage is review sentiment (37% vs 20%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 2nd sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Get SMS Code sells 13 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

2nd holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.2K and 2.8K respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 37% of 2nd's written reviews are positive against 20% of Get SMS Code's.
