# Pageants Live vs CrownChat

The clearest difference is rating: CrownChat at 5.0 against Pageants Live's 4.1. CrownChat also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 5 weeks). Pageants Live's advantage is ratings volume (35 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pageants Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $32.99 per month and CrownChat sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CrownChat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pageants Live has 35 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pageants Live ships an update every 5 weeks, CrownChat every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
