# Lockerfox vs nich3

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Lockerfox at 994 against nich3's 7. Lockerfox also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Lockerfox holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lockerfox has 994 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Lockerfox's written reviews are positive against 80% of nich3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lockerfox ships an update monthly, nich3 every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
