# Edge Training vs Bud

The clearest difference is update cadence: Bud at every 5 weeks against Edge Training's every 10 months. Bud also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Edge Training ships an update every 10 months, Bud every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
