# Ekde vs Chimely

The clearest difference is ads: Chimely at none against Ekde's shown. Ekde's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ekde sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Chimely sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ekde ships an update every 4 days, Chimely fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
