# LetsBeParents vs Held

The clearest difference is ads: LetsBeParents at none against Held's shown. LetsBeParents also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LetsBeParents sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month and Held sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LetsBeParents ships an update weekly, Held fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
