# J.Crew vs Earth Store

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Earth Store at 100% against J.Crew's 48%. Earth Store also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.1) and device support (3 vs 1). J.Crew's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (910 vs 14). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Earth Store holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: J.Crew has 910 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 48% of J.Crew's written reviews are positive against 100% of Earth Store's.

J.Crew ships an update fortnightly, Earth Store every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
