# Progressive CC vs FaithStudy

The clearest difference is ads: Progressive CC at none against FaithStudy's shown. Progressive CC also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (12.2 vs 15.0). FaithStudy's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (15K vs 5). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Progressive CC against 4.9 for FaithStudy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FaithStudy has 15K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Progressive CC ships an update every 2 months, FaithStudy weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
