# FormNote vs memomer

The clearest difference is update cadence: memomer at every 3 days against FormNote's every 9 days. memomer also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. FormNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and memomer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

FormNote ships an update every 9 days, memomer every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
