# BusZone vs BusStopLive

The clearest difference is rating: BusStopLive at 5.0 against BusZone's 4.5. BusStopLive also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 7 months). BusZone's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 3). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BusStopLive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BusZone has 3.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BusZone ships an update every 7 months, BusStopLive every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
