# Raingel vs LED Light Controller Remote +

The clearest difference is rating: LED Light Controller Remote + at 4.4 against Raingel's 2.4. LED Light Controller Remote + also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (3.5K vs 25). Raingel's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LED Light Controller Remote + sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Raingel asks for nothing beyond the download.

LED Light Controller Remote + holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LED Light Controller Remote + has 3.5K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Raingel's written reviews are positive against 32% of LED Light Controller Remote +'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
