# MagicTable vs HersheyResorts

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: HersheyResorts at none against MagicTable's 8. MagicTable's advantage is ratings volume (5.7K vs 9) and rating (4.8 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagicTable sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. HersheyResorts asks for nothing beyond the download.

MagicTable holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagicTable has 5.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of MagicTable's written reviews are positive against 100% of HersheyResorts's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MagicTable ships an update every 6 weeks, HersheyResorts every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
