# MagicTable vs Enchanted Assistant

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Enchanted Assistant at none against MagicTable's 8. Enchanted Assistant also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). MagicTable's advantage is ratings volume (5.7K vs 2) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MagicTable sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Enchanted Assistant asks for nothing beyond the download.

MagicTable holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MagicTable has 5.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 95% of MagicTable's written reviews are positive against 100% of Enchanted Assistant's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MagicTable ships an update every 6 weeks, Enchanted Assistant monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
