# Microsoft Loop vs UICC Events

The clearest difference is rating: Microsoft Loop at 4.6 against UICC Events's 3.7. Microsoft Loop also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 3). UICC Events's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microsoft Loop sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. UICC Events asks for nothing beyond the download.

Microsoft Loop holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Loop has 5.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
