# Microsoft Loop vs orbita

The clearest difference is monetization model: Microsoft Loop at free with in-app purchases against orbita's subscription. Microsoft Loop also leads on ratings volume (5.1K vs 2). orbita's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microsoft Loop sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and orbita sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

orbita holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Loop has 5.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
