# Microsoft Loop vs ApplyPilot

The clearest difference is update cadence: ApplyPilot at every 3 days against Microsoft Loop's monthly. ApplyPilot also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Microsoft Loop's advantage is ratings volume (5.1K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Microsoft Loop sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and ApplyPilot sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ApplyPilot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Microsoft Loop has 5.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Microsoft Loop ships an update monthly, ApplyPilot every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
