# Journey TCI vs DriveNY

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Journey TCI at 100% against DriveNY's 50%. Journey TCI also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). DriveNY's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (32 vs 6). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DriveNY holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DriveNY has 32 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Journey TCI's written reviews are positive against 50% of DriveNY's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Journey TCI ships an update every 2 months, DriveNY monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
