# Monster Catch Run vs Evolution Survivor

Monster Catch Run and Evolution Survivor both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 49% of Monster Catch Run's written reviews are positive against 0% of Evolution Survivor's. Monster Catch Run also leads on ratings volume (832 vs 17). Evolution Survivor's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Monster Catch Run sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Evolution Survivor asks for nothing beyond the download.

Evolution Survivor holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Monster Catch Run has 832 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Monster Catch Run's written reviews are positive against 0% of Evolution Survivor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
