# GO2TRain vs Elite Lingo

The clearest difference is monetization model: Elite Lingo at free with in-app purchases against GO2TRain's subscription. Elite Lingo also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 74%) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). GO2TRain's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 2). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GO2TRain sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Elite Lingo sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for GO2TRain against 5.0 for Elite Lingo. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GO2TRain has 1.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of GO2TRain's written reviews are positive against 100% of Elite Lingo's.

GO2TRain ships an update monthly, Elite Lingo weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
