# Mindgrasp vs Bananote

Mindgrasp and Bananote both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Bananote's written reviews are positive against 31% of Mindgrasp's. Bananote also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 3 weeks). Mindgrasp's advantage is ratings volume (1.1K vs 13). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindgrasp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Bananote sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Mindgrasp against 4.6 for Bananote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindgrasp has 1.1K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 31% of Mindgrasp's written reviews are positive against 100% of Bananote's.

Mindgrasp ships an update every 3 weeks, Bananote every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
