# Mindgrasp vs Assignd

The clearest difference is monetization model: Assignd at freemium against Mindgrasp's subscription. Assignd also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Mindgrasp's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindgrasp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Assignd sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Assignd holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindgrasp has 1.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Mindgrasp ships an update every 3 weeks, Assignd every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
