# Mindgrasp vs AI Lecture Note Taker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: AI Lecture Note Taker at 100% against Mindgrasp's 31%. AI Lecture Note Taker also leads on monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). Mindgrasp's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mindgrasp sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and AI Lecture Note Taker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mindgrasp holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mindgrasp has 1.1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Mindgrasp's written reviews are positive against 100% of AI Lecture Note Taker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mindgrasp ships an update every 3 weeks, AI Lecture Note Taker every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
