# TRC vs Rangers Store

The clearest difference is monetization model: TRC at free against Rangers Store's free with in-app purchases. TRC also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Rangers Store's advantage is ratings volume (28 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TRC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rangers Store has 28 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 87% of TRC's written reviews are positive against 83% of Rangers Store's.

TRC ships an update every 10 days, Rangers Store every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
