# TRC vs TFC

The clearest difference is rating: TRC at 5.0 against TFC's 4.3. TRC also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 10 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). TFC's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%) and ratings volume (6 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TRC holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 87% of TRC's written reviews are positive against 100% of TFC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TRC ships an update every 10 days, TFC every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
