# SSH Term vs Clipify

The clearest difference is ads: Clipify at none against SSH Term's shown. SSH Term's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SSH Term sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Clipify sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SSH Term ships an update weekly, Clipify every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
