# DashMap vs Speed/Limit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Speed/Limit at every 2 days against DashMap's every 2 weeks. Speed/Limit also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DashMap sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Speed/Limit sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DashMap ships an update every 2 weeks, Speed/Limit every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
