# Counter vs Focus.AI

The clearest difference is ads: Counter at none against Focus.AI's shown. Focus.AI's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 4 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counter sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Focus.AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Counter ships an update every 4 months, Focus.AI every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 20, 2026.
