# Kahunas vs DMV PT

The clearest difference is review sentiment: DMV PT at 100% against Kahunas's 19%. DMV PT also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.3). Kahunas's advantage is ratings volume (77 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kahunas sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $95.99 per month and DMV PT sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $250.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kahunas ships an update monthly, DMV PT every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
