# MindTriggers vs Word Master

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MindTriggers at none against Word Master's 10. MindTriggers also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Word Master's advantage is ratings volume (18K vs 2) and chart position (#32 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Word Master sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. MindTriggers asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for MindTriggers against 4.9 for Word Master. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Word Master has 18K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MindTriggers ships an update every 2 weeks, Word Master weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 27, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
