# Orb Social on Lens Protocol vs PlateLicker

The clearest difference is monetization model: Orb Social on Lens Protocol at free against PlateLicker's free with in-app purchases. Orb Social on Lens Protocol also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs every 9 days) and ratings volume (114 vs 12). PlateLicker's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orb Social on Lens Protocol sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and PlateLicker sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
