# PXPlay vs Cheat Codes

The clearest difference is rating: Cheat Codes at 5.0 against PXPlay's 4.2. Cheat Codes also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). PXPlay's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (468 vs 1). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PXPlay sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Cheat Codes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cheat Codes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PXPlay has 468 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PXPlay ships an update monthly, Cheat Codes every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
