# SPC AlignPro™ vs Tekmetric Mobile

The clearest difference is monetization model: SPC AlignPro™ at free against Tekmetric Mobile's subscription. Tekmetric Mobile's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly) and ratings volume (60 vs 7). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.7 for SPC AlignPro™ against 2.7 for Tekmetric Mobile. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tekmetric Mobile has 60 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 33% of SPC AlignPro™'s written reviews are positive against 29% of Tekmetric Mobile's.

SPC AlignPro™ ships an update monthly, Tekmetric Mobile weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
