# MyNotes vs Fragments

The clearest difference is device support: MyNotes at 3 against Fragments's 1. MyNotes also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MyNotes sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per year and Fragments sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MyNotes ships an update every 3 months, Fragments every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
