# DuoTheme vs Duo Wallpapers

The clearest difference is update cadence: Duo Wallpapers at every 4 days against DuoTheme's fortnightly. DuoTheme's advantage is ratings volume (374 vs 18) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DuoTheme sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Duo Wallpapers sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.4 for DuoTheme against 4.3 for Duo Wallpapers. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DuoTheme has 374 ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of DuoTheme's written reviews are positive against 60% of Duo Wallpapers's.

DuoTheme ships an update fortnightly, Duo Wallpapers every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
