# Modern Campus Involve vs Campus Mobile Payments

The clearest difference is rating: Campus Mobile Payments at 2.4 against Modern Campus Involve's 1.8. Modern Campus Involve's advantage is review sentiment (14% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Campus Mobile Payments holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Modern Campus Involve has 60 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of Modern Campus Involve's written reviews are positive against 0% of Campus Mobile Payments's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Modern Campus Involve ships an update every 3 weeks, Campus Mobile Payments every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
