# Flip vs Tracky

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Flip at none against Tracky's 2. Flip also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Tracky's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (10 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tracky sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Flip asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tracky has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flip ships an update every 4 months, Tracky every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
