# ViewChat vs BBchat

The clearest difference is ads: ViewChat at none against BBchat's shown. ViewChat also leads on device support (3 vs 1). BBchat's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ViewChat sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and BBchat sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ViewChat ships an update every 5 weeks, BBchat weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
