# CrossChex Cloud vs VideoLink

The clearest difference is rating: CrossChex Cloud at 5.0 against VideoLink's 1.8. CrossChex Cloud also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). VideoLink's advantage is ratings volume (40 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

CrossChex Cloud holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VideoLink has 40 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
