# Eclipse vs Motive

The clearest difference is ads: Motive at none against Eclipse's shown. Motive also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 10 days). Eclipse's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Eclipse sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.49 per 7 days and Motive sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
